1991 Raghdan (Ray) Bashir is contracted to project manage the reconstruction of Iraq’s power generation and distribution network after it was destroyed in the first Gulf War.
1993 Raghdan Bashir Co Ltd is established to design and manufacture mechanical and electrical spare parts for gas turbine power stations (20MW) and thermal power stations (45MW, 160MW, 200MW, 220MW and 300MW).
1997 Raghdan Bashir Co Ltd expands to include the supply of engineering materials, equipment, tools and spare parts to power plants, industrial factories, refineries, petrochemical plants and cement plants.
2001 Al-Majdayn Co Ltd is established to expand Raghdan Bashir Co Ltd’s trading and engineering services.
2002 Al-Ashkal Co Ltd is established to expand Raghdan W Bashir Co Ltd’s general contracting services from construction to structure treatment (injection and painting), reverse osmosis (RO) systems, and chemical and sewage water treatment plants.
2003 Al-Atheer Co Ltd is established to deliver telecommunications and Internet services as sole distributor of Hughes Internet systems and VOIP International call services.
2004 Golden Group Co Ltd is established to supply the Raghdan W Bashir Group of companies with materials for its projects and services for rebuilding activities.
2008 The Raghan W Bashir Group closes operations in the Middle East due to conflict, and opens in Australia as Aust Tech Engineering and Supplies Pty Ltd.
